Two Stars One Slot

Two Stars One Slot

Stolen from the now defunct FameTracker. What stars are essentially the same with no real reason to have more than one in the celebisphere?

Recently I decided that Ellen Page is really just the new Linda Cardellini.

Oh hey. I remember that feature. And speaking of Linda, I am confused about her ex.

I am not sure, lately, that Seth Rogen and Jason Segel are entirely different people. I was almost certain I prefer the Jason version of the two, but now that he is dating Chloe Sevigny, I am undecided once again.

And then since Jason starred with Mila Kunis, another one of my Ukranian soul sisters, I have to mention that Home Alone and T2 aside, I really can't tell Macauley Culkin from Edward Furlong. If it weren't for Edward's distinguishing characteristic of having that huge recording career in Japan, I would be sure that she were dating him and not his doppelganger.

You guys, it's very simple. Seth Rogen is the cute one. Duh!

I know...sad. But for whatever reason, I find him just hilarious, semi-charming, and teddybearishly cute.

I have to stick with my old staple of David Duchovny &...that other guy...George Clooney. They are the same guy as far as I am concerned. Mediocre heartthrob beefcake from some TV drama I could never sit through.

Amy Adams and Rachel McAdams.

I like Rachel much better, but truly, in any part one of them plays, you can see the other doing a good job, with no discernible difference.

Elizabeth Banks is not as good (nor has their career), but she can also be wedged in that same slot.

Kate Bosworth and Alexis Bledel could play good twin/evil twin in a movie. They both have that porcelain skin and deliver lines exactly the same way.

I also have a hard time telling Alexa Vega from Alia Shawkat. Alia is obviously the better actress whereas Alexa gets the teeny bopper roles, but they look SO much alike.

yeeeeeeeeeees, this exactly. I'm still pretty sure I don't know who Amy Adams actually is. I keep thinking she's one of the old finalists from American Idol.

Whereas every time I hear the name, I'm thinking of Joey Lauren Adams, who starred in "Chasing Amy."

Oh, you guys, I just had a 10-minute conversation in a bar about this, trying to convince a co-worker that Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg were, in fact, two separate people.

"So the guy in that Jack Black movie, he isn't in Zombieland?"
"No, the guy in 1 Ad or year One or whatever it was: that's the guy from Arrested Development, Michael Cera. The guy in Zombieland is the guy who was in Adventureland some time last year."

She's still not convinced. But it took me a while to believe it myself.

See, I get Amy Adams and Isla Fisher confused now. Need a quirky-vulnerable semi-bumbling adorable redhead? Either one of them can capably fill the slot.

Isla Fisher is much cuter than Amy Adams, though.

Amy Adams and Taylor Swift could play sisters. If Taylor acted.

Two recent "wow, they could be siblings" connections for me:

Jayma Mays from "Heroes" and Hayley McFarland from "Lie to Me". It's harder to see from pictures alone, but their facial expressions are eerily similar to me.

[urlhttp://www.imdb.com/name/nm1218607/]Burn Gorman[/url] (whom I saw in "Bleak House", but who is apparently also in "Torchwood", which I haven't seen yet) and Steven Mackintosh (who's been in a bunch of stuff, and whom I just recently saw in an episode of "Jim Henson's 'The Storyteller'").

Jayma Mays also looks a bit like Heather Graham, at a glance.

That messes with my mind.
